omg i live on the border of la county and san bernardino county, and all the sb school districts are reopening. WTF? am i crazy to think that thats absolutely horrific? everyone else seems to think its normal here.

Fuck the proposition system it's not the people's job to write laws in a representative democracy. Yes some props marginally improve things or otherwise can be seen as "good", but the system as a whole is just another tool for painting consent. The majority of props are like a mini "do you want Kamala or do you want Pence?" decision it's pathetic.
A prop will be like "we'll feed some starving children but we're obviously taking most of the money" and it's like wtf enough - put a name behind these monstrosities
The mere fact that Uber can put a prop on the ballot to repeal a law that was already passed specifically targeting them is evidence enough to be rid of them
and that prop is polling pretty well rn, though at the very least, most undecideds are libs/dems so at least they have a chance of voting against it.
did anyone else receive the "cop voting guide" in the mail? quite useful in getting my research started on who not to vote for
