    This isn't slut shaming.

He's just doing the liberal "gotcha on ur hypocrisy" of pointing out that evangelical dominionists are okay with Trump fucking a porn star

It's dumb just like everything else libs do, but it's not even close to slut shaming

Bootyjudge said that Trump's affair with Stormy Daniels would be counter to Pence's evangelical views

....this just isn't slut shaming. Unless the phrase "porn star" became a slur in some circles and I'm not aware of it

"porn star" absolutely is a slur for right wingers and liberals definitely use it to appeal to what they perceive as "right wing sensibilities"

obviously it should not be a slur at all

Yeah I'll agree it might trigger some emotional gut reaction thing in some people (especially older/conservative folks), but it's also just a descriptive noun. Michael Jackson was a pop star, Lebron is a basketball star, and Sasha Grey was a porn star

I don't consider the phrase "porn star" to be a slur in most contexts, and I still don't see this as slut shaming, unless there was something in the article that indicates otherwise

It's using the operative phrase "porn star" as the shock word in the attack.

There's nothing wrong with being a porn star, but this attack frames it as if there is.

There’s nothing wrong with being a porn star, but this attack frames it as if there is.

        How?

The attack frames it as being wrong in the context of Mike Pence's morals. It's not slut shaming, it's saying that Mike Pence is a slut shamer, and yet is hypocritically okay with this.

Maybe based on the condensed paraphrased headline. What he actually said was:

"There’s a classic parlor game of trying to find a little bit of daylight between running mates and if people want to play that game we could look into why an evangelical Christian like Mike Pence wants to be on a ticket with a president caught with a porn star "

To me that's pretty clearly saying that being "caught with a porn star" is bad, and Mike Pence is a hypocrite if he supports that while claiming to be a good Christian.
