Let's be real, if we had 3 active meta threads dedicated solely to blahaj.zone and mostly filled with people shitting on them, would they still be federated with us?
Idk why we need to treat them like extra special little babies so they'll do us the favor of associating with us. Fuck em
Its because we really want to be in solidarity with them as a trans community. But unfortunately some of them are really taking advantage of that. I completely agree we shouldn't be the only ones making concessions. The person accusing us of being fake queers absolutely 100% should have been banned.
no, you're right. but that's the thing: jokes aside, we used to be liberals. i wouldn't count the support i showed the trans community as a lib "solidarity". it was a liberal show of support (which can still be heartening to see!) but it's not solidarity of the sort that exists between comrades. (i'm sorry this is about as clear as cement but i can't effectively communicate what i mean any better bc )
I get what you are saying, but at worst we are getting new membership and allowing the libs to provide a live showing of how they are ultimately incapable of solidarity. I think it makes sense to sometimes support things because they will fail, like the USSR trying to join NATO to demonstrate that NATO was anticommunist and would reject them.

How about they deal with their Vaushite chaser comm and it's mod who leaked CARCOSA's DM and then we can talk.
the sad reality is that as much as we want this, there is no solidarity to be had with liberals.
I mostly agree but on the other hand, most of us were liberals once yeah?

You made sense. It's like "thoughts and prayers" vs systemic solutions.
