You can tell someone is a Zionist when they use "thousand year conflict" to imply that le mooslums/Ay-rabs have been antisemitic for their whole existence, and not explicitly during the period of a fascist, irredentist regime that was placed on their doorsteps and declares itself bastion of civilization in the region because of its religion.

The present violence goes back to 1882 at the earliest. Only in a very indirect way does it relate to many previous empires’ attempts to conquer your homeland, which is not necessarily what ordinary people have in mind when they crudely summarise this situation as ‘ancient’.

What nobody ever seems to take away from the summary, though, is that your people have survived imperial domination every time: whether it was from the Babylonian Empire, the Assyrian Empire, the Ptolemaic Empire, the Seleucid Empire, the Roman Empire, the Crusaders, and so on and so forth: you always came out better in the end. That is why I have faith that your people shall persevere again: you inherited your ancestors’ Maccabean spirit well, whereas the settlers on your land are trying to act like the Crusaders instead.

I realise that none of this is likely to be news to you, but my intent is to show you that I actually understand some of your history and therefore why you’ll succeed again.

Anyone care to explain how, in their minds, supplying Israel with weapons despite clear knowledge that those weapons are being used to commit genocide is an important plan of Kamala's word salad plan for peace?

      1. Um, actually, it's congress that decides whether to send weapons to Israel. Sure, the Biden administration has bypassed congress to send more weapons, but, uh, look over there! 🤡

      2. She's hiding her power level and will come out as anti-Zionist once she's in power. TRUST THE PLAN 🤡

      3. She's not anti-Zionist, but we can push her in that direction once we've already given her our support and sacrificed every ounce of bargaining power we might have wielded 🤡

      4. She's not anti-Zionist and can't be pressured in that direction, but Orange Man Bad. It's fine to support genocide if the other side supports it too 🤡

I think they just swallow the "We're trying so hard we promise" line wholesale. They're just satisfied to see lip service and that SomethingTM is being done.

They think it's worth doing it so they don't lose the pro Israel crowd or well she's not technically in charge so that's all on Biden and she can't be against him as vp. Literally only argument they have.

I like how even in their made up concern-trolling scenario they had to pretend Kamala is more coherent and serious than she's ever been when discussing any topic ever (nevermind she'd be blatantly lying about working hard or that she cares or is trying to protect civilians or that she has or would do anything to stop or even remotely dissuade the Zionist entity at all)

I don't know how y'all can brave the front lines of posting like that. I can't stomach anything these reactionaries say for a second. They all have the infuriating quality of being confidently incorrect. They describe delusions in their head, made up on the spot, but treat it like well known common knowledge.

They treat it with absolute fact that the Middle East has been a conflict ridden warzone for thousands of years. They can't understand the current colonization of Palestinians started less than 100 years ago. They can't understand that Jews and Muslims lived in the region for something like 1200 years together during various reigns and weren't some eternal enemies fighting holy wars 24/7. They can't fathom that the British and American Empires instigated this whole conflict, and that it's driven not by ancient grudges, but rather current oppression happening right now to real living people.

I hate all these smug smarmy liberals who act all holy because they're following completely fictional rules of civility that they made up. Their rules for civility mean you have to feed into their stupid western liberal vibes analysis or else you're attacking or harassing or whatever the fuck. You can't call them a fascist sympathizing imperialist fuck even if that is precisely what they are.

I just hate them, I feel bad looking at anything they say, so I stay away for my health. To all my posting comrades, you're stronger than I'll ever be. kim-salute

and all-out war is on the brink if Isreal is seen as losing support

This filth right here is full-blown support for genocide and is no fuckin different from the shit they wrote under Trump's picture, these cockroach fuckers debunked their own "nuance" argument in the first goddamn sentance for Kamala lmao

Absolute dishonest trash, they have nothing to say, only genocidal ramblings

What are they even saying? There is currently a war and Israel is the one instigating it. They're the ones bombing Gaza and moving troops into Lebanon through Syria. What, is Israel going to invade even more countries if the US pulls out support?

Maybe Israel will do something crazy like assassinate Palestinians leaders while they're in Iran? Oh.

Is that what you call vetoeing multiple UN ceasefire resolutions? And giving them weapons while gleefully declaring undying support is seen as giving pressure? What a joker
