most of this shit is just what it looks like when you switch from baked textures to PBR, you get softer edges and shadows because light doesn't work like in the left image
again and again these people prove they don't actually like or understand the medium they claim
It's the uncanny valley for the waifu chuds. More detailed fem figures that look more like a real person makes them big mad. They want the cartoonish blow-up doll version instead because that is the only reference that they are operating from.
These people need real problems.
They should be given real problems. 
Sometimes my numbness goes away for a second and I have a moment of clarity where the moral and social disgust i feel towards them hits fresh. What a waste of a human life.
are these people consciously trying to enforce these standards? i doubt so. its kind of mindblowing if you think about it.
