The reddit front page is almost exclusively "Trump bad" posts, has been for weeks. I know we like preaching to the choir but this shit is a whole other level of just reassuring each other that doing nothing but supporting genocide is good (plus many many bots).

this will be my fourth general election and I've voted for a woman every single time. Jill Stein in 2012 and Gloria La Riva in 2016/2020. now Claudia De la Cruz in 2024. but I wanted Bernie to win in '16 no naturally I'm a misogynist bro

As someone who just turned 35 this year, I cannot wait to cast a write in vote for myself. I think I'd do a better job than all the past presidents and current candidates. Plus I could really use the bump in pay.

In 2020 I had at least 4 people, all customers from my last job write in my name for president lol. I have statistically received more presidential votes than over 99% of Americans.

I didn't even tell them to as a bit, they just told me after the fact because they had become so jokerfied by the last two elections and the ratfucking of Bernie.

Voting Stein is a vote for Trump. Voting Gloria La Riva is a vote for Trump.

young-sheldon Therefore if I vote for Trump it will count as a vote for both Green and PSL.

voting thrid party is a vote for trump, or harris, or thrown away depending on who you ask

so if you love democracy you must vote third party because its a vote for every option and is therefore the most democracy

Idk I think I'm cool with goofballs and old hippies who want the same things as me, basically align morally. I feel like they have a good record actually. I remember the green who ran for NJ Gov was a pastor and sheltered immigrants in his church. badass shit. They ran Ralph Nader god imagine if he had been pres. We stan a Lebanese King. Almost single-handedly big dicked it vs the car companies saving thousands of lives every year. Goated.

IDK not trying to overthink it. New poll shows Stein pulling more from Trump than Harris. No corporate money. Ending the weapons for genocide day 1. #1 with muslims same as Bernie was. She's on almost every ballot. JILL STEIN easy to write in. I say fuck it.

But also I gotta cop to being an electoralist and don't think voting is inherently bourgeouis. Basically I choose to not give up hope that it's possible for someone to win besides D and R in my lifetime cuz I'm convinced if we don't we'll never solve this shit. In the utopian society in my head that I want to fight for and live in voting can work to express democratic will. Figuring out a way for voting to work. As a species I don't think it's beyond us. And these old green party geezers get together for potlucks and fill out some forms and jump through whatever hoops they gotta to stay on the ballot each time so I'm like yeah fuck it i'm down to try to win let's try.

Tone check really appreciate PSL and the mass movement it is building. Legit af. They organize actions like all the time year round. We need that shit too to WIN. Just trying to win a just world.

can't imagine not being an unaffiliated voter so you can go "hmm dealer's choice" whenever you go to your polling station and they ask you what ballot you want
