Framing is genuinely important and we have a lot of linguistic baggage which normalizes all kinds of hierarchy, social domination, and division. Experimenting with language is overall a good thing in my opinion. The problem is that a lot of people recognize these injustices and are shamed by them, but in lieu of actually doing something to fix the problems, they lean into linguistics and culture to compensate for their impotence. People engaged in struggle let their actions do the talking, and they don't need to lean on bleeding edge academic linguistic fads as a crutch.
