if someone asks you to refer to them in a certain way, do so
if a comrade askes you to do something low effort that you have no reservations with doing (like setting a pronoun) it's cool to do that
no one has to set their pronoun, especially not if they have reasons
What isn't okay is not having any skin in the game (cishet) and saying you don't care yet apparently caring enough to complain anyway when just asked to do something to help their comrades, that is :haram: and it's why this day long shitstorm got kicked off
Thank you for taking the time to reply. It's definitely something I care about and I just want to make people, especially those who feel marginalized, feel welcome. I'll always refer to people how they prefer to be referred to. I just want people to be happy.
