Virgil Texas has declared war on Anarchism

Edit: Lol did I start a site wide struggle session?

Edit2: keep it going. Is this the most commented normal post yet?

He's also talked about why he doesn't like anarchism in a few other episodes, responding to complaints about MINDFORCE: FIBONACCI SNIPER.

Seems like it boils down to: everything that anarchists want is good, but matt doesn't think that the revolution is going to happen the way that anarchists think it will. He hasn't talked about anarcho-syndicalism in the cushvlogs yet, though. It seems like he's only been talking about anarchists who think that the revolution will just happen spontaneously.

People call anarachists idealists, but anarchist organizations are one of the most practical things to build. If/when shit goes down, it's valuable to have a network that can take care of each-other's basic needs.

Yeah, I agree. I think that this is Matt's worst opinion, but it's so uncharacteristically bad that I'm wondering whether he maybe has an actually good point that he just hasn't explained yet. It seems to go against other stuff he's said about why protests and getting to know other leftists irl are important.

As a blackpilled anarchist, though, I feel what he's saying even though I totally believe that we're both wrong about it.

tbh for someone who comes off as informed in so many areas he seems oblivious on this subject for whatever reason. I just started noticing it recently when he made a casually flippant remark about the bread book and it seemed out of character.

It took me off guard. It was kind of funny, I think it was Brace that didn't even really pick up his criticism and they just kinda left it. Curious if he's even read it or just has pre-conceived notions.

It seems like he's read nothing about anarchism and is just basing this stuff on stereotypes and annoying people he's met. When someone asks him about an anarchist book or anything like that, he says "I wouldn't know because I'm not an anarchist".
