A = 4.0 (Highest possible GPA) B=3.0 C= 2.0 etc, with + and - grades being middle steps. All your grades for all your classes are then averaged to an overall gpa, between 4.0 and 0. Special classes like AP, IB, or college classes have some fuck shit where they count for more, let’s say you get a 4.0 in a single AP, that 4.0 will bring your overall GPA up higher than a 4.0 in a regular class, though I don’t know the math on that. It’s fucking stupid because a single F will tank your GPA and there’s nothing you can do about it.
