For those unaware, the Guardia Civil is a notoriously fascist miltlitarized police corps in Spain, and there's been a huge storm in Eastern Spain, particularly the province of Valencia. Glad to see the agents working tirelessly to help the greatest victims of all: owners of sneaker shops in malls.

Saw a video of some people "robbing" an Aldi and I just thought "based, those groceries would probably rot anyway" while the rest of the people near me treat it as some moral failure

For anybody who doesn't understand why "stealing" shoes is necessary in the aftermath of massive flooding, learn about "trenchfoot", and consider that floodwater is basically just sewage. Clean & dry footwear is genuinely very important.

Yep. You will get incredibly sick incredibly fast if you spend time in floodwater or the mud that some after. You should also wear a respirator if you're near the mud after it dries.

Nah like even if we’re gonna do capitalism, theft does not exist after a natural disaster unless it’s like, from a person directly. Especially for necessities like shoes or food, but I don’t really give a fuck if people take iPhones or TVs either.

And anyone who tries to prevent someone from taking things from a business in a disaster zone deserves to be fucking shot.
