I like how "Please don't support genocide" is asking someone to be a Communist
I mean, it would be cool but it ain't happening
It was called "Manifest Destiny" and it was promised to us crackers by the word of God, sweaty. Read a history book.
Okay but like, if she did say she is a communist and specify that she's the same kind of communist I am, I'd have been all for her.
Yeah "pretending to be someone I like" is still a massive step forward that would win my vote if they put just a little bit of effort into backing out up. Bernie did it for example!
well some guy named ned finds something nobody said beneath contempt. i'll make sure to tell my cat about it when he gets up from his 8th nap.
I followed some mutuals and artists to Bluesky and I will say despite the libness, it is nice to actually interact with people that aren't Twitter Bots.
I have two accounts because I learned it very much lib place and I learned they have a blocking/muting fetish. One account is political. And I've had nice discussions or retweeted nature photographers and artists but later I got mad. The accounts blocked or muted me because I assume they had a quickie look at my profile and they hated my anti-dem posts.
To stop myself from getting angry all the time - for my other account I use skyfeed.app and so far I haven't followed anybody.
I would have taken "I condemn genocide" before voting illegally five times but alas
The subtext here is that anyone permitted to compete for the throne of imperial viceroy will be implementing the same set of policies no matter who they are, so whether a specific aspirant "wins" or "loses" can only come down to messaging strategy.
It's fascinating to me who the libs are mad at (or who they like or love) after an election. And - of course - the lack of introspection is always kind of amazing.
