Is it? How does Gates Foundation funding work? Like obviously I would assume you probably shouldn't trust any outlet that receives funding from it to have unbiased reporting on the Gates family's business ventures but do you think it would affect the quality of a video on weed?
It's not that Gates funding changes the outlets opinion, but that they have a very specific "type" they fund, a sort of techno-optimist liberalism. BadEmpanada made a number of posts and videos about Kurzgesagt's issues, and they got into an argument in the comments, but BE can have a bit of a grating personality.
