      Yeah I think they cases will just keep going up, but this time there will be no social or political will to do the necessary lockdowns and social distancing required. Could be really really bad.

        Yup. Especially around thanksgiving and Xmas. We will have been locked up for 9-10 months by then. People are just going to say fuck it and spend time with loved ones. Mix a little alcohol in and we’ll see NPI discipline slip.

          Yep, one side of my family just want to have normal Xmas and Thanksgiving. All the kids are in school, everyone else working in person. I'm worried for my grandparents

          No, it says that many people tested positive and died and had covid make it on their death certificate. Have to compare total excess deaths, which various Indian states don't have numbers on and have said they don't. It may take a year to sort out how many died.

    The long term chronic illness that this is going to create is the most deviating part. This is like 3% of the population at least.
