Anyone else spent years of listening to GY!BE, as a stoned, anxious, alienated-as-fuck youth daydreaming about apocalyptic shit while everyone around you seems unphased, and have all the things that drew you to listening to that shit get validated this year? All of a sudden it was like oh fuck it's pretty rational to feel this way about the world. As a member of the least oppressed cross section of the working class, it may have taken me longer to realize that it was okay to throw away the endlessly referential, ironic mask and be okay with caring about shit. I mean I would never not want to be a cynical fuck, but that means nothing if you aren't willing to struggle at the side of your comrades trapped in the same cynicism and shit world as you. Smoke a bowl with me comrades, and shed a tear for the ghosts of comrades past, my eyes overfloweth as I gaze upon paintings of our glorious VI Lenin in action. Yes it may be mid afternoon and I'm extremely high, listening to motherfucker=redeemer. As it goes, "There are decades where nothing happens; and there are weeks where decades happen." And it feels like decades just happened and there's so many more to come, it feels just over the horizon. So don't mind me I just think the world is feeling a bit apocalyptic at the moment.

Stay safe comrades o7 GY!BE slaps

      Interviewer: Well... Do you have any weapons?

      Blaise Bailey Finnegan III: Yes, I do. I own a high-powered assault rifle, I own a 12-gauge double barrel shotgun, I own a regular shotgun, I own a regular hunting rifle, I own a 9mm, a 357, a 45 handgun, a 38 special, and, erm... I own an m-16 fully automatic ground assault rifle...

      Interviewer: Do you think things are gonna get better before they get worse?

      Blaise Bailey Finnegan III: No way. Things are just gonna get worse and keep on getting worse. Like I said, America's a third world country as it is and... and we're just basically in a hopeless situation as it stands

      Interviewer: What do you think this country's gonna look like in the year 2003 2023?

      Blaise Bailey Finnegan III: Y'know, I'll tell you the truth - nothing against you guys, but I don't wanna answer that question because... I haven't even got a mind that's that...that inhumane

      Interviewer: are you ready for what's coming?

      Blaise Bailey Finnegan III: Ready as I'll ever be

    Oh yeah I frequently get faded and listen to gsybe;

    You may also like Anna von Hausswolff's album All Thoughts Fly, it's like the droning movements of godspeed, but with a fucking pipe organ.

      Personally I prefer her album from 2018 Dead Magic. It's got a much darker vibe that gels better with me. Recommend checking it out if you're a fan of All Thoughts Fly!
