The original, by Tim Whyatt (https://www.nobleworkscards.com/c6392bdg-man-aprons-funny-birthday-paper-card-whyatt-tim.html), definitely doesn't intend this message. Dude's a greeting card cartoonist who makes naughty Far Side tribute comics. In true Far Side manner, the original was just a, "here's an unexpected and funny situation", and it has been coopted to spread transphobia. Like minus the dumb added text, the original strikes me as having sexy-lady-apron guy be the butt of the joke?
Yeah I was gonna say I suspected the original wasn't intended to be transphobic, just kind of a dumb boomer comic.
1994: simulation, repressed sexuality under a thin veil of irony. Proto fascism.
2024: in their element, gender conformity is but a costume to wear as a treat.
