They won't even escape trumps presidency unless the whole boat is a no internet/cable news zone. They'll still be watching MSNBC/CNN & checking Twitter, and seeing constantly in the news would be one of their bigger complaints and reason to "escape" in the first place
the other group this is aimed at are those who figure an endless cruise is better than a retirement home and I don't really blame them. Maybe not this specific one because who'd want to be stuck on a boat with but I can see the appeal of just being shipped around on a floating hotel to see different tourist trap ports.
so long as you aren't concerned with the horrendous working conditions of the crew, the environmental impact of the ship, the impact of cruises on the communities they visit, etc...
