        Ok but at least the electoral college had a purpose, even if it was a really bad one. There is no reason why you'd want ties to be possible in the fucking presidential election

          The electoral college hasn't had a purpose since the telegraph was invented and the lame duck session is worthless*, too. Just fucking escort the losers out immediately after the results.
