The Emmy-nominated Netflix comedy series about a troupe of female professional wrestlers had originally been renewed for a fourth and final season, but plans for that season have now been scrapped due to production delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

What the hell. If the money was already earmarked, just hold onto it and do the damn production? I don't even watch the show, but this is such a bizarre reasoning for not finishing it. Is inflation REALLY that high to where waiting a month or six would completely fuck over their production costs?

    Edit:

With no sign of when the series, which involves most of the lead actresses being in close proximity to each other in the ring, would be able to safely resume production, Netflix decided to pull the plug.

Oh, geez. Ok, though I don't think the COVID protection costs would be SUPER higher than a normal production. But what do I know, I'm not a show runner/exec.
