Basically they want to keep out reactionaries and anti-lgbt types and they're forcing this as a tool of getting enough history on a user to do so.
Anyway I have a history of fighting with one of the mods (ex tankiejerk mod who has improved as a person and become more of an ally since palestine), they approved me.
