Sure it's a lazy skewering of right wingers and neolibs but grind house movies aren't pretentiously written to win Oscars. It could have even been a great film had they not completely shit the bed at the end. All it would have needed was a minor tweak to the ending and it would have been a good film and decent polemic.

Crystal should have been a dirtbag leftist. It would have totally made sense too since she was codenamed snowball after the Trotsky analog in Animal Farm. They totally pulled their punches.
