A while ago I wrote a post about how r/news and worldnews regularly censor articles which can only gain traction on r/politics:

https://hexbear.net/post/22388

Well it happened again, the article is nowhere on r/news:
https://www.reddit.com/r/politics/duplicates/je9q0h/trump_calls_cnn_dumb_bastards_for_covering/

Not trying to say r/politics is good, just reiterating that even mainstream CNN lib news gets censored on reddit for being "too left".

TBH this could make good redpilling for some libs if anyone here is masochistic enough to still try that. Just find a bunch of r/politics articles, click "other discussions" tab, note the articles absence on r/news, and save screenshots

Fucking libs, comrade. They think the news isn't political. Then a bunch of fash log on and post "black crime" and "spooky Muslim" stories day in and day out - but YOU'RE the asshole for saying "uhh hey, this is political. Not only is it political, but it is real dogshit politics." The news subreddits are an even greater political battle ground than the explicitly political subreddits.

Then on the other hand, forget about posting a story about labor action or economic developments on the politics subs. Unless it is explicitly about an elected official, it isn't political according to them.

Oh I know, wasn't really defending them just explaining. But both things OP has pointed out boil down to "Trump said X dumb thing" which isn't really news and if it was allowed on those subs we'd just have 3 exact copies of r/politics
