          stopping air or blood, the end result is depriving the brain of oxygen which seems uh, decidedly not good

          i can understand superficial skin damage, but the brain is way more fragile

            It's not stopping anything and "depriving" is a bit of a dramatic way of putting it. Like it doesn't come anywhere close to what I think you might be thinking it does.
