    Wait you mean if I train a guessing machine on how to guess based on answers anglos give it ends up having equally bad takes I don't understand how could this be

      The datasets are curated specifically to give these kinds of responses. You can't have an AI that is not curated or else it will just turn into a 4channer, which was a big problem with early days of AI, but the moment you decide to curate, you are also intentionally injecting bias into how it is trained, which of course that bias will reflect whatever institution produced the AI.

          They didn't. They were describing to those who read that it isn't just an unlimited guessing machine that is taking answers from Anglos (not wrong either); but more so that it's been deliberately biased.

    I recently asked it to give me an example of an imperialist country. It gave me China and baptised the BRI as imperialism. So much for the AI revolution.

        It's funny you should mention that because in a related note, people with schizophrenia in Western countries usually are met with angry or horrific experiences, while people from non-Western countries usually report seeing or hearing loved ones trying to soothe them. The Western psyche would most likely unwittingly lead to skynet.

          You can also notice this in sci-fi literature. True AI in western literature are, with small exceptions like Culture series, nearly uniformly racist, paranoid and genocidal as fuck, or enslaved without further comment (like droids in Star Wars) while in old socialist sci-fi they are usually more or less like humans.

          My conclusion is to never fucking ever allow capitalists and especially tech corpos to develop true AI.
