I’m good at fractional addition and subtraction because I use a tape measure and a scale ruler a lot. Beyond that I use fingers and toes a lot.
I also need my fingers or a calculator for anything beyond the simplest arithmetic lol
Have you ever tried using your fingers to count in different number systems? If you count in binary you can represent up to the number 1024 with 10 fingers hehe. If you have excellent muscle control you could probably even count much, much higher in trinary. I can do binary but thankfully I usually have a calculator near me these days lol
I’ve mostly given up on mental arithmetic. Thankfully my phone is usually nearby enough that I just use it. Otherwise you’d be waiting a while for an answer.
I'd be interested in modding, though I am on this site very sporadically, so I can't commit to really being too vigilant.
If no one who wanted to be mod in the /c/commrequest thread wants to do it, that would be cool, ty
Otherwise we probably only need a few mods cuz this comm will probably be pretty low-activity
