I brought up the crime bill and someone told me that the dems were responsible for all the good shit like 3 strikes or whatever, and it was the republicans that were responsible for putting in the bad shit. I don't doubt that the conservatives probably tried to implement the most brutal, unforgiving policies they could, but seriously?
