Something I learned long ago is that they don’t JUST want to sound badass when saying it. It is a statement of intent.
They would literally rather die than see the same corporations they worship as gods be told what to do. They are no different than an 8 year old boy screeching at his parents that he’s running away because they won’t let him skip school and eat nothing but McDonald’s.
