Agreed they're great, but also consider Moka pots - probably even more durable, and if you get the original Bialetti they have the cool Italian waiter dude logo on the side from the company that's been making them since the 1930s.

After years of Aeropress we switched to Moka - it's a richer more satisfying cup to me. 3-cup Moka makes a good strong coffee for one person (3 espresso cups, so about half a mug). Drink as espresso or microwave some milk in your mug for a frothless latte or water for an Americano.

Aeropress or Moka are durable, inexpensive, and make excellent coffee.

I don't know, I read about that when getting one and came to the conclusion it was tiny amounts.

There is little evidence that normal exposure to aluminium presents a risk to healthy adult, and there is evidence of no toxicity if it is consumed in amounts not greater than 40 mg/day per kg of body mass. Most aluminium consumed will leave the body in feces; most of the small part of it that enters the bloodstream, will be excreted via urine. (Wikipedia)

I'm 70 kg, so, so 2.8 g per day is my limit. If the pot leeched that much per day it would disappear within a year.

          Stainless is pretty dope though.
