Everything moves so fast nowadays that its easy to forget some of the funny events from the year. I posted the financial columnist getting scammed article recently, that happened in February, seems like a million years ago! Even the Trump assassination attempt barely stuck in my mind. Please share your faves!

Just came across this in my roll. US DoJ tried to shame Z-Library maintainers for going camping.
Think my favorite moment was when the US withdrew one of their aircraft carriers once they realized the Houthis could hit it (don't remember all the details, but I thought it was extremely funny).
Trump almost getting got TWICE has to take the cake. I always knew Harris was going to lose but I didn't see someone trying to kill Trump. I always thought it was going to be Biden and some chud boomer shooting at him.
There was a third assassination attempt, right? But I think it got caught by the feds first. Something about explosives?
I looked into it a little more. The feds accused a 51 year old Afghan national named Farhad Shakeri of being hired by Iran to kill Trump, but arrested him before anything happened. The accusation says that Shakeri was part of a wide network of Iranian hired spies and assassins. Iran denies all of it.
Now that I read into it more it sounds more like nonsense that someone in the FBI or state department cooked up to saber rattle against Iran
IMO the funniest forgotten event of 2024 is when Kamala Harris ran for president and lost.
George clooney "sinking" biden ship via op-ed. Macron snap electing himself out of majority. corbyn getting elected. olympic shooter memes.
Guy on the right is one of the israeli hostage parents, AOC was oscillating back and forth between "rhetorically supporting" Palestinians and then doing stuff like this.
