I disagree that the gameplay loop is boring - at its core it's RPG adventure exploration, but unlike most RPGs there's constantly new story, new enemies, new friends, and new attacks to deal with at every step which keep it interesting.
It's also not the most interesting gameplay of all time, I'll give you that, but it ain't bad.
Genuine question: what's so bad about undertale's fandom itself? The usual criticisms I hear can be applied to fandoms in general so i don't get why people single out UT's fandom so much, unless it's just because "popular thing bad"
Also yeah, gameplay definetly isn't the game's strongest point, lots of fans agree with that from what I have seen.
Oh yeah, certaintly. But that's what i said, this is not something exclusive to undertale, pretty much any fandom will have these types of weirdos, undertale just has a lot of them because the fandom is big.
