Last night I had a super vivid dream it was already New Year's 2024/2025. After I woke up I of course checked my phone, and it was only November 1st, as I'm sure you all know... But I mean, imagine that, though! Dreaming about New Year's a whole two months early! — I guess I've just been thinking a lot lately about how 2024 is already nearing its end, but so many things I wanted to do or wanted to see happen, I haven't done, or haven't come to pass.
So anyways, I did my usual morning routine, and then I turned on the TV to watch some baseball. Now baseball isn't actually very popular where I come from, nor do I watch TV very often, but my grandma is very fond of that sport, so I wanted to give it a shot for her sake.
Baseball was honestly super boring, though, way more boring than even I was expecting.
But then suddenly my phone rang, and I could've sworn my little sister said in fluent Japanese then and there, "Erika-chan, denwa!" — But it turns out she really said something like, "I think it's on, then what?", she was just fiddling with some weird gadget and talking to my mom about it.
But yeah, I picked up my phone, and it was one of my friends. And that friend said something like, "We're meeting at 2 o'clock in front of the station. Be sure to come, and take with a swimsuit, a bike, and plenty of money."
...But the strange thing was that it was like I almost knew what my friend was going to say before she actually said it. In fact I also felt almost like I'd already seen that same baseball game before, and had had that exact same dream before, and felt like my friend was going to call me at that exact moment, and for that matter felt like I'd had that exact same experience of swearing my sister was speaking Japanese to me.
But Hell, I guess all baseball is the same to me, dreams can be similar to each other, my friend is the type of person who would call me that early in the morning to say those exact words, and those types of mishearings happen all the time when there's a lot of background noise. So it's just one of those days, I guess... I've heard that stress can make déjà vu more likely, so that's probably why.
Of course, this type of extreme and persistent déjà vu will only make you swear you're losing your mind even more...
Edit: Alright I just had a chat with some of my other friends, sparing the details turns out we're kinda stuck in a time loop and the only way out is if we can cause Ireland to unify within the next two months.

Actually we're in the clown hell timeline didn't you get the memo last night at midnight?
Haw haw, funny joke, but you're not gonna convince me that my dream last night was real.
