This, I think, is the true significance of Luigi. He's not going to inspire proletarian revolution or awaken class consciousness or anything like that and as fun as it is to imagine it's naive to pin those results on his action.
However, his actions (and the response by the bourgeois media and state) have clearly exposed the hypocrisy for even the most unaware among us. It has been exposed in a way that is so perfectly concise and pure.
It is wonderful to see people use that framework to expand upon that analysis and we should encourage them to continue on that path.
