i cant believe we have this emoji (water spray gun) and not the actual gun emoji. in the end this whole thing was just a flex by Apple just to show how wide they could swing their balls in pointless cultural issues.
apple: "hey look at us how good we are we changed the metal gun with a water gun"
every other tech company: "welp fuck what now, are we gonna be the violent idiots who want to keep an actual weapon in our emoji lists?"
i say we do want to be those violent idiots chapos, bring back the gun emoji so i can shoot at people with lead in minecraft like we used to.
Actually, if we can get a font file with just the gun we can have that at the top of the site's list of fonts.
Here's the font file from iOS 9. idk how to manipulate fonts but I would think we could just extract the one codepoint.
