i cant believe we have this emoji (water spray gun) and not the actual gun emoji. in the end this whole thing was just a flex by Apple just to show how wide they could swing their balls in pointless cultural issues.

apple: "hey look at us how good we are we changed the metal gun with a water gun"

every other tech company: "welp fuck what now, are we gonna be the violent idiots who want to keep an actual weapon in our emoji lists?"

i say we do want to be those violent idiots chapos, bring back the gun emoji so i can shoot at people with lead in minecraft like we used to.

Once I saw a gun emoji in its uncensored form. I immediately went out and bought a gun, I don't know why. I started browsing subreddits about people being shot, /r/bodycam and /r/gunfights in particular, to study the art of combat. I began using TOR to cloak my movements online, following darkweb trails to increasingly more radical militia forums. Those are of course filled to the brim with Syria videos and I followed the URLs into Wahhabist forums and then naturally the jihadist ones. The most faithful of Allah also had guns and when I showed them the gun emoji they accepted me as one of them. I flew to Iraq, crossed the border in a returning oil truck, and joined ISIS. There are so many months there that I mentally blocked out because the things I did haunt history. I would have been a loyal American if I had just seen a water gun instead. I wouldn't have known guns exist goddammit.
