No meme, world at war was the first time I was introduced to the Soviet side of WWII as a kid, and those levels really did a good job showing how the Soviets were literally fighting a war of their survival as the Nazis sought to exterminate them.
And they went and fucked it all up in the sequel because uSsR eViL or some bullshit like that
I’d love a Cold War game where the premise is similar except you play as the revolutionaries fighting off Western imperialism, ie the USSR, Viet Cong, various LATAM conflicts, etc.
