how am I supposed to take this guy seriously without his eyepatch

Is this a serious peace proposal so that the Germans can try to salvage the remains of their industrial capacity, or is this another one of the "peace" proposals that amount to Russia volunteering to disband its armed forces and Ukraine gets to do the holocaust on anyone considered "russian" between Kherson and Moscow.

Too little too late, Ukraine is exhausted now and Russia is on the winning side and will therefore be unlikely to make concessions.

Feels like an op to smear longstanding calls for negotiations as doomed to fail from the start.
