He was in his late 60's and didn't shut up for the entire shift. He told me all about ham radio operation for the whole shift & how to set up an antenna & what frequencies youcan broadcast at. Like, while we were waiting for a pick-up he dipped into a thrift store & bought a tube radio from the 50's and stashed it in a cabinet the work truck.
I dont want to sound like im dunking on him. He was a nice enough dude, but kinda weird in a detached way. It just now hit me that he was the oldest poster I've met.
Yeah now learn everything he knows because building and operating small radios is gonna be important during the Bourgeisagaloo.
