    The other side of it not mattering who wins the presidency is that it doesn't matter who you vote for so don't stress. I voted Biden to appease some friends and family who really insisted it was important to them. I didn't enjoy it, but whatever. It does nothing either way.

        This is an aspect of yourself that you have to kill. Voting for Biden doesn't make you a part of the social and political forces that put Biden into power (potentially), but our system puts that shit into your brain so that you can feel a sense of self-actualization from participating in their very thoroughly rigged electoral process and that that sense of satisfaction might put you off from doing something that might actually help to weaken the superstructure.

        Anyway good luck with your family, win lose or draw next month is gonna be rough as all of this political agita gets resolved.

        I get it. I stood there and deliberated over that little tick on the paper for five minutes. But, it's not bad if Biden wins, relative to Trump. It just doesn't matter, so what's the problem if you're part of something irrelevant? It's not how we want to vote, but America's not a democracy, so what does our vote matter?
