Unless you're gambling on a new Great Depression, I don't think the industry is banning itself is in our future. link

Fraking is currently a money losing business. Many of them are about to go bankrupt. So this is a really weird hill to die on.
It's a money-losing business because demand is in the tank. But it's relatively quick and easy to scale up, as prices rebound.
Unless you're gambling on a new Great Depression, I don't think the industry is banning itself is in our future.
