Who is the target for this crap? A couple hundred well drillers in the dakotas or the oil companies themselves. :thinkin-lenin:

This is the actual purpose of the entire US electoral system. So the ruling class can spread its propaganda and get people to defend evil people out of feeling some necessity to. This is basically just a campaign to get people to not call for a ban on fracking, it isn't to actually appeal to someone.

According to pundits they think it will influence Pennsylvania which has gotten into fracking.

If you remember that Democratic support for fracking increased after the debate, I think you get a better idea what this about. It's not about selling himself to moderate conservatives. It's about convincing the "vote blue no matter who" crowd that fracking is cool.

This makes oil line go down tho.

Oil line = Price per barrel = demand increase :halal: supply increase :haram:

This is :halal: for oil companies that are more heavily in fracking than their competitors and anyone that buys large quantities of crude and :haram: for oil price per barrel, oil companies less heavily invested in fracking, and anyone competing with companies that regularly purchase large quantities of crude without themselves purchasing a lot of crude. So basically Biden's doing his bit to tilt the scales in the corporate world and our lord and savior the free marketplace of excess value towards anti-environmentalism. Cos he's an evil fucker who's owned by other evil fuckers.

SMH if you don't commodities trade can you even call yourself a marxist😤

Look, literally every 18-24 year old I know is anti fracking. Even the conservatives I know want climate regulations.

What is he doing here. I'm sure a lot of people would be motivated to show support if you offered a plan for the thing that has been looking over my generation our whole lives like a ton of bricks.

If 18-24 year olds voted in similar proportion to boomers, we might actually get something done. But they don't. Not blaming the young folks, but that's the calculus these ghouls use.

Fracking specifically here is all about Pennsylvania. It's leaning Biden but still a state Trump could take. It has a lot of electoral votes, and fracking is a disproportionately large part of the economy there

I like how this is just presented as a fact about reality, neither good nor bad, just unchangeable

The Earth is 4.5 billion years old. The average human's bodyweight is 136.7 lbs. Joe Biden will not ban fracking

Trump: "Joe Biden is gonna make things better folks!"

Biden: "Listen, Jack! As president, I'll keep things just as awful as they are!"

This is so dumb politically. Even for people that don't want him to ban fracking (I actually don't think banning it outright is the way to go tbh)

But reacting to attacks in a way that reminds people of those attacks is the wrong tack.

Consider if someone accused Joe Biden of child molestation, and he ran a series of ads with the line "Joe Biden is not a child molester. It's that simple."

It wouldnt convince anyone who had already bought into the lie, and for people not familiar with the claim it would just like Joe Biden and Child Molester in their heads.

Joe Biden doesn't fuck pigs. Anyone who tells you that Joe Biden fucks pigs is a liar.

It literally looks and reads like an attack ad against him. Who in his campaign staff thought this was a good idea? And who the hell does it even appeal to?

If it weren't for COVID and Trump being such a stupid ass with how he's handled the entire thing, I have zero doubt that Biden would be cruising to a loss here.

No, they just needed some fake excuse to yell from the mountain tops "I HATE PROGRESS STOP SAYING I THINK WE SHOULD HAVE PROGRESS" so people forget about Bernie and asking for anything.

Fraking is currently a money losing business. Many of them are about to go bankrupt. So this is a really weird hill to die on.

It's a money-losing business because demand is in the tank. But it's relatively quick and easy to scale up, as prices rebound.

Unless you're gambling on a new Great Depression, I don't think the industry is banning itself is in our future.
