A struggle session, a power poster, a 2020 Democrat debate, or anything that tickled your fancy... remind us all about it in this thread!

My favourite memory by far has got to be the ~week or so we spent speculating about the Silver Legion.

That TERF with the phrenology based dating app that threatened to expose us live on Australian TV but then didn't actually do it when her interview happened.

Obviously it was Saul Grover, CEO of Giggle, the TERF social media app coming very close to going on Australian TV to complain about us.

Mine is from the before time, long ago in a place called r/cth... A hapless chud wandered in a few weeks after we had bullied another chud into deleting their account, and he went off.

CW: suicide depicted in film. Hours later he too deleted his years old account. 🤣 The best part was shortly after, when a Chapo did an edit of the Passion of the Christ in the scene where Judas is plagued by his guilt and ends his life. The original scene in the film has a gang of children running around and beating him up , where he glimpses a shadowy figure who is supposed to be the devil. This edit however features the kids with comments on them like "post hog!" and the like, and that shadowy figure?.. Matt fucking Christman! The children suddenly disappear and he sees this rotting dead donkey with the previously deleted chud"s user name, and he does the thing, no hanging body mind you, just a screen cap of his deleted account page. For some reason that made me laugh till I cried and has stuck with me for years. I think I may have the video on my old phone some place.

Haven't been here long enough to have witnessed too much domestic discourse, but there's something I've found endlessly hilarious.

Seeing Hexbear's federation and mere presence become a forcing move (like in chess) for instances to make it clear where their political and class loyalties lie.

We've seen the cookie cutter, big tent, generic "all are welcome" type instances speedrun into fascism and straight into their own graves. This trend has followed suit with spaces that claim to be "safe" for the sexually divergent (most notably trans), yet act effectively, in practice, as a flytrap or honeypot to reel in the vulnerable population and facilitate their bullying and abuse at the hands of the intolerant (Blahaj or 196 as it's most widely recognized now).

This type of shit is speeding up and intensifying contradictions and forcing off masks while elevating class consciousness, and also making it clear that currently all roads point to Hexbear for actual refuge as a vulnerable demographic. It's a win-win-win as we stand to benefit the most from the brain drain liberal instances always experience due to anti-communism. It's an irrefutable fact and immutable future that anti-communism leads to an inevitable concentration of the worst society has to offer and thus, naturally, an exodus from those instances since those types of people are time tested proven to be the people nobody wants to be around on the internet. They (victims of the abuse) see how we operate here and often seek asylum, which we're more than happy to provide. From there, exposure to our ideas and theory takes care of the rest and solidifies the delivering to their final political destinations (most prominently Marxism-Leninism).

Looking forward to the next Big Tech controversy delivering the next spike in Fediverse traffic, because this shit never gets old seeing capitalism failing in real-time while also cultivating healthy spaces of the internet I actually want to participate in and be part of. The trend is irreversibly in our favor. Reactionaries will end up on islands isolated from the wider Fediverse (a fate most likely to befall Blahaj), and continents will show a steady upward trend in quality of discourse and solidarity. Liberalism can't compete with what we've got, and they're forced to grapple with it now. They will find the only options are to capitulate or perish, because the world's tired of the liberal internet facilitating hate.

Hi, I'm one of the blahaj refugees pushed here by their transphobia. My account was two days old and I asked someone not to repeat transphobic propaganda, and I got banned by the admin. It was in a thread about how Hexbear was too woke and defederated Blahaj just for using slurs, and a bunch of bears told me to come here if I wanted to be accepted, so I did.

There was a whole heap of transphobia and ableism directed my way when I joined, but the difference between y'all and Blahaj is an open mind. Instead of getting banned for being a minority and wanting rights, I changed minds.

Very sorry you had to put up with such abuse, and I'm glad you found your way here.

This is referring to Blahaj, right?

We have your back here fidel-salute

I hope you've been enjoying your stay heart-sickle

No, bears thought my gender was too silly and that it must be a conservative joke, and they said my mental disorder isn't a disability and is okay to use as a pejorative on neurotypicals. This came from both users and mods. But I convinced the users to have a big long think about my mental disorder, and the mods believe in my gender now.

I'm used to being treated this way. To me, a safe space is somewhere I can fight for my rights and have some impact over time without being called political or argumentative. I was called a wrecker at first, but it's gone down since then.

It's pre Hexbear but that time we bullied a chud on r/cth to post his hog and he actually did it.

It was like actually finding the end of a rainbow and the pot of gold.

I remember the one day long thread about circumcission, mostly because I was pretty active in that thread and because there was 1 user who just could not get it through his head what I was saying. I kept trying to be respecful and explain to him why his sources were probably not very good, but the guy just would not stop posting. I think I spent an entire work day just replying to that one guy, which isn't exactly my proudest moment on this site, but I genuinely thought I had to push back, because I thought I was the only danish person still active and the guy kept bringing up danish politicians.

They all ran from the strength of our posting
