      Idk about cool and good. I don't think anyone should glorify violence, but it was necessary.

            That's literally what they do, they push it to the peripheries where an underclass is barely paid to do it for them, this applies to animal farming as well as imperialism.

              The revolution was good, but I am firmly in the violence is a necessary evil camp. Bully me about it all you want.

                A necessary, unavoidable pre-requisite. I don't know why you'd feel the need to hand-wring over it unless you have substantive criticism of the application of violence in the revolution.
