Funny thing is communists DONT year for violent revolution, they yearn for a more egalitarian society, but fucking capitalists just murder them for even wanting it.

      Yep

People use the means which are left to them

Also America was founded on violent revolution

Not to mention the other liberal poster child: France. Violent revolution, mass murder, dictatorship world war. That just went fucking peachy.

That's literally what they do, they push it to the peripheries where an underclass is barely paid to do it for them, this applies to animal farming as well as imperialism.

A necessary, unavoidable pre-requisite. I don't know why you'd feel the need to hand-wring over it unless you have substantive criticism of the application of violence in the revolution.

Exactly, they claim they want revolution so it must be the violence they are against and that is because they have the privilege not to be subjected to the violence of the state or the threat of it on a constant basis.

If I stand by and watch you get sexually assaulted, all the while shrugging my shoulders and saying, "well, that's men for you", can I call myself anti-rape? What if I turn that into a career? Ellis, contrapoints, Dan Olson, they're all trash.

I know, that doesn't mean that they have net worths of 1 million or more. Even the for big breadtubers, they have living and production expenses, and haven't been getting lots of patreon money for a long time. Massive Youtuber Mr Beast has a reported net worth of 18 million dollars and he have endorsement deals and stuff and uploads way more often than average breadtubers. do you think they're living like scrooge mcduck off of patreon backers? I don't even think contrapoints is a millionaire off of her patreon, definitely not Lindsay Ellis and there's no fucking chance Dan Olson is.

It's one thing to understand that revolution will require violence and another to be obsessed with the violence that will happen during a revolutionary period. Some comrades fit the latter description and I don't think that's a healthy place to be in.

They don't currently have the ability to use kinetic impactors, they won't for at least another decade, If we've taken US military bases we'll have ASAT weapons, and if there's a revolution it will come with military revolts. so we too will have rocks to drop.

Uh..as far as I know the only armed Space Station ever was Saylut 3. They absolutely could do a self nuke, but that would be difficult given how the system is set up.

Again, MAD involves people. Some of those people will be revolutionaries and we will have control of those facilities. Worst case scenario we can Kessler LEO pretty easily and then nothing is getting through..

Exactly, they're reifying a counterbalance to justify remaining in the status quo. This is entirely because of this position's moral superiority, of course, not because they'll use any justification for the defense of their currently excellent material conditions.
