In Australia today it’s the biggest horse race of the year, basically everyone leaves work and goes to bars to watch these poor animals be forced to race for their entertainment. Also on average a horse dies every year (and that’s just in this one race).
Fuck horse racing, fuck greyhound racing, fuck Australia, that is all.
Yeah, and even if the animal someone manages to survive the race and 'retire', they're left with a lifetime of pain from injuries caused by being forced to run, as well as psychological issues from being confined / kept solitary for a large portion of their life which sucks for a pack animal.
Basically, fuck all racegoers, kill all jockeys, execute the trainers and lets go back to good old fashioned human blood-sport. Hell, as long as it's consensual it will be more ethical than a horse race.
