I'm left wondering if there will ever be another reason to have political hope in this country in my lifetime, or if it's just going to be like the latter half of this year for the rest of my life.

Also, this video made me cry. I'd forgotten how close it felt back then. Yeah, he's a lib, but I just wanted a shot at giving people genuinely decent health care in this country, and I feel like that's totally gone now (along with so much else).
