"Whoever wins the US elections, Israel must always rely only on itself"
"Trump or Biden? In the end, it doesn't matter, Washington has Israel's back."
these statements literally contradict each other
Nah
Israel relies on itself
And it uses its influence to protect itself
~
It's not guessing if it has support
don't you love to know hey no matter what we are still helping these dudes destroy palestinians lives don't worry about it
Israel is a self made nation. With small annual donations of 3 bill from dadamerica.
israel will become a us state before any of the american territories it will be great
Israel will come in as five different states in 2022, once McConnell realizes he can use it to retake the Senate.
Democracy is when there's no corruption? Nah. This is totally normal. More democracy doesn't fix it.
Oh look, the country that has the most internal influence in our political system and controlling our politicians acting like they haven't done anything.
It's not the other way around and you don't seem to know much of their history if you think it's a vassal state for what the US is doing in the middle east. Modern Israel was founded shortly after WW2 long before the US ever got involved in the middle east. US imperialism is not a hivemind. It's a bunch of capitalists with specific different interests from one another. The Israeli government has smartly managed to infiltrate the US government and EU governments with lobbying and that's where they get most of their support and funding. The US has been funding them and sending money to them for decades now. Since the Reagan era, they have been sending a national yearly budget to Israel and foreign policy debates in previous elections usually revolve around which candidate and party loves Israel more.
The Israeli lobby is quite possibly, the most powerful lobby in the US government. Politicians would be risking their entire careers if they just so happen to criticize Israeli, even if it's mildly. News reporters have lost their jobs for covering the genocides against Palestine when trying to speak out against it in the past 20 years. Israeli influence was not that strong many decades ago. It slowly grew from the 80s and on up.
They pretty much use the US as leverage cause they know no one is going to want to retaliate against their aggression towards other countries when they have the backing of the US. Israel has invaded Egypt and other countries in the past, all with the US sitting there and backing them. It's pretty much a given, that if they didn't have the US as an ally, another country by now would've got fed up with their aggressive actions and went to war with them.
Saudi Arabia has similar influence in the US government, but their lobby isn't no where near as powerful as Israel's.
do you think a majority of politicians would just suddenly change their tune on israel if they cut back on lobbying? israel’s continued existence is beneficial to the imperial bourgeoisie.
You just contradicted yourself right here lol. Who is the "imperial bourgeoise"?????
Israel has been lobbying in the US government since the 80s with both political parties, who accuse each other of not protecting Israel enough. There's more than money involved, as it also revolves around who the US has targeted in the middle east since then. Look up some of the wars Israel has committed since then with US backing.
“le israels the us shadow government” type shit
I didn't even suggest this LOL. I pointed out how powerful their lobbying in the US government is. I also mentioned Saudi Arabia doing similar things, all of which has been proven as well. Israel and Saudi Arabia just so happen to be the two foreign countries with the most lobbying involved in the US government. But according to you, it's the "imperial bourgeoise" lol.
hey just jumping in here i actually agree with both of you but i think you guys are coming in from a place were both of the things you guys are saying can't be true at the same time, which i disagree, like in my view israel is vasal state and it also lobbies america, like israel existence complements the american state interests which are at the moment not lose the middle east to china silk road plan, keep selling guns to countries and not lose their place as the hegemon, and i don't think that israel could say no to america in any sense if american interests ever came to a blow with israeli interests and the lobbying is also a thing it makes politicians that have interests in having israel support win their elections and so they can keep the american interests the same as theirs like i don't see how these two things couldn't happen at the same time things tend to have more than one reason like a lot of people are involved
