Genesee county has Flint (a relatively small and derelict city) and the rest is suburbs and rural areas. The suburbs have tons of management-level chuds with pickup trucks and $500,000 homes, and the rural areas might as well be Alabama. Democrats have to push and campaign MUCH harder than they do to be competitive in Genesee county.
