Also I went on /r/DirtyPenPals to see if there was any stress about the election there, but no, those folks just keep on being horny and kinky without a care for our dumb problems, and I envy them.

They legit think the American people have failed the Democrats instead of the other way around lol

Also, reading the comments on some of the posts is fucking hilarious:

I’ve felt sick to my stomach all night. I could rationalize 2016. But this is truly astonishing. I just didn’t realize so many people are okay with his behavior, with the breaking of laws and traditions, the divisive rhetoric, his complete lack of any kind of vision for America, his many legal and financial problems, and the list just goes on. How can you support him? How? I just can’t understand it. Makes me feel like my entire life is a lie.

Literally BILLIONS with a B dollars spent on political campaigns during the middle of a terrible public health and economic crisis. The end result is an election that is almost identical to the last one! More people have voted, but the overall margins are extremely similar to 2016.

Not really, they're just kind of saying Bernie would have done worse, and blaming, like American stupidity generally. When you point out Biden's shitty strategy they just sort of weakly say not to point fingers.

Bernie unironically would have done better. He had a message and energy that wasn't just "yeah he sucks, but Trump...". And half of republicans think Biden is a communist anyway, so that line of attack wouldn't impact anything anyway

Bernie would have definitely lost Florida, but probably been able to win the Midwest on election night.

And do a lot better with non-Cuban Latinos.

I think the media and DNC would have tried to sink his campaign though.

Yeah the only thing that makes me think Bernie would not have won is the Corbyn-level sabotage that would have come from within.

Yo, Bernie had the fucking southern Latinos in the fucking bag. Those numbers could have swung Texas, Georgia, and North Carolina. Along with Ohio. Biden offered nothing for these people any got nothing in return.

Corbyn is really a bad example to compare Sanders to. He got control of Labour and then did nothing about the Blairites. He could've purged them from the party and started changing things. By him sitting idle, it allowed them to constantly attack him and destroy his character.

The DNC was never going to allow Sanders to get the nomination and if they did, we would've seen then move to the GOP in hopes of stopping him, more similar to what happened to McGovern.

Bernie would have done the same thing as Corbyn did if he had won the nomination and somehow managed to win the presidency. Lots of people don't know Bernie's history pre 2016 as most people had never heard of him before then but he has cowtailed to the Democratic Party establishment since at least 1993. I say this as someone who donated and voted for him twice. But the Bernie from the 80s died a long time ago.

He also had an actual campaign strategy and get out the vote strategy unlike Biden

Gotta get rid of the bernie wing. I hate to say it but racial wokeness doesn't work with Hispanic voters, esp with rioting. Basically gotta go back to 90s politics.

Keep the super woke shit within LA and NY. Honestly that mindset went crazy after Trump won because we thought we had to go to the absolute opposite of Trump to win. But turns out, most of the country wants boring typical moderate politician.

we picked that politician, but Trump was able to successfully run against AOC and the Squad.

Could it be that the candidate put forth was bad?

No, it is these people who aren't running for President that are bad.

Dunks aside, remember how many disaffected libs made there way to Chapo in 2016? Regardless of how we feel about this - anxious about Trump or giddy at Biden's colossal failure - we need to remember that this could be another chance to massively increase our numbers. As their shock and grief turn to anger, a portion of them will realize that the Democrats are functionally useless as an opposition party and we need to be ready to offer an alternative.

"We've promised them nothing and they just won't vote for us for some reason! So why should we promise them anything?"

      Gotta love that circular logic.

Yeah why don't young people who've been fucked over by multiple economic crashes caused by both moronic parties forgo a day's worth of pay on a Tuesday to stand in line for 18 hours to vote for a rapist asshole who said he has no sympathy for the situation he fucking put you in? It really boggles the mind.

Wow, the strategy "the same but less loud" didn't work? How would have thought. Now let's cosy up to the right even more and show this Cheeto in 4 years that we don't approve.

This is why horniness is counterrevolutionary, how can the revolution succeed when the only thing that's rising up is in your pants?
