Clarification:

No, of course I don't trust a stupid screenshot from 4chan. The thing I wanted to tell you is that this fucking shit is making the rounds in twitter, so a lot of furious psychos are legit thinking they were cheated.

Bernie ratfuckment was also amateurish, but if you have the whole media on your side it doesn't matter.

Yeah, that’s fair for Iowa, but the nuclear option was Obama telling all the other centrist candidates to drop out and endorse Biden.

Nah, Obama had basically removed himself from politics and didn't weight in until the last possible moment. If it was a runaway race either way and his influence wasn't needed or wouldn't have done anything he would have stayed home.

      but this seems awfully amateurish…

Its a fucking google widget thing, not a raw read of the actual goddamned voter count

Not familiar with that instance, but almost definitely yes. This is just a haphazardly updated widget thing, frequently lagging behind AP news reports, and weird behavior doesn't necessarily mean anything.

That'd be insane. If the democrats rigged this one, they'll give the justification necessary the right-wing nutjobs wanted to go on a murder spree. There's no way they'd be THIS FUCKING DUMB.

You're obviously a fucking moron if you're taking a widget on a website to be gospel, but the idea of fabricating enough votes to make it close but not flip the state seems like the most democrat thing ever.

It doesn't matter, it's making the rounds in twitter. It trully is the worst outcome because chuds really think they were cheated so they will do some shit. And if they don't, the senate is red anyways so the libs will excuse Biden ineptitude in that, instead of radicalizing.

There were at least two races that saw large bumps for Biden and these charts apparently from 538 (hard to verify because the site sucks shit and the live count may already be taken down) are making the rounds big time on chud sites. I think OP is correct, this is going to serve as a call to action for people with itchy trigger fingers who see what they believe is plain evidence of being cheated (whether they are real or not)

Poll workers report numbers from tally spreadsheets to the news media. Sometimes there's a delay in between different candidates' tallies being reported, and the website refreshes faster than the data can be reported to the goons doing manual data entry. Early votes for Biden got counted in one lump sum, but the early votes for Trump from that batch hadn't been reported yet because again, manual process involving a lot of Excel sheets and phone calls. CHUD sees the vote totals during one of these "lag" periods while shit is still being entered for Trump. Antics ensue.

I used to work at a call center and those manual data entry shifts we had to do when elections came around were by far the most soul crushing shit at that place

Not that weird, if you're tallying votes into stacks and reporting them to your system in batches.

You're assuming a system that does "Enter Votes: Biden _____ Trump ______ " rather than one that does "Enter Votes: Candidate _____ Total _____"
