The much-hyped Ukrainian counter-offensive is rapidly running out of steam. As demoralisation creeps in, blame and recriminations abound. All the while, workers in Ukraine, Russia, and the West are paying the price for this imperialist carnage.

    Negotiations will commence when both parties are willing to come to the table. Russia so far displays no willingness to do this. Ukraine as well. It takes two to tango. Anything else is wishful thinking.
